Scott Woods

Scott Woods grew up in the Houston Texas area and attended college at John Brown University, Scott left his dream job with State Farm Insurance when God called him to overseas missions. After severe health problems he left Romania and began his recovery from Typhoid Fever. 

 

While home his passion quickly changed to international students eventually leading him to the University of Texas at Dallas where he and his Chinese wife Marie ministered to Chinese graduate students and visiting scholars. He has worked at UTD now for twelve years.

He loves drinking chai with his new friends and teaching conversational English to students and scholars from over ten different nations including multiple religions.
